So...
We re-organized our anniversary trip and "settled" on going to California for a couple days and then taking a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada. This is basically the "senior trip" cruise that a bunch of people take right after high school, but I think it should be a blast.
The last time we booked a cruise we found out Lorey was pregnant with Ryan the day after. No such luck this time, but maybe a slower boat and no pregnant wife will equal a much better experience. Of course, this time I'll only get one dinner per night instead of two. What a shame. :)
Regardless of the trip, we're excited to celebrate our 10-years, and will have our first lengthy time away from the kids. Last time we had to call from Mexico to check on our dog, so hopefully we can cut the cord a little bit and enjoy ourselves properly.
More to come on Jazz playoff basketball (you have no idea how crazy excited I am... I've become a junky :) ), Ryan starting school, and Sierra's dance class.

The best laid plans of mice and men...
...often go awry.
Ugh.
We had planned a trip in May to Hawaii to celebrate our tenth (it seems shorter than typing the numbers out this way ;) ) anniversary when we found out our airline had just filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This wouldn't be such an issue, but we had bought the flight in a package deal and were left with few options.
Fortunately, the people with Sam's Club travel (Expedia-based) were great and actually (after my original call to them and two calls back to me) refunded our entire package without us having to request a refund from our credit card. They even waived the cancellation fees, which we figured we'd be stuck paying.
So, some good *did* come out of a crappy situation, but now we're stuck looking for a vacation spot. We have babysitters for the kids for a week and would still like to go somewhere, but where?
Suggestions, anyone?
