Just another rainy day in Vegas... ho hum.
Okay, okay, it's pretty rare to see thunderstorms, but there's a little crazy one going on right now. Nothing to worry about, just a lot of wind, rain, thunder, and lightning. Flash flood warnings always seem to come with these, but unless the rain kicks up a notch, it should be a non-issue.
So what's going on here? Quite a bit, surprisingly.
Ryan is still enjoying school - he actually only goes the rest of the week, then he's off for 3 weeks---the joy of year-round school. I don't think it'll be a problem as far as getting into the habit of going to school, I just think he's gonna miss it. He also started soccer games this past Saturday. I missed the game (work) but heard it was... interesting. Like I think I said before, it is 3-on-3 with no goalie, so basically a jumbled mess of kids running around. But, at least, he's outside and part of a team. He also enjoys it, too!
Sierra started preschool today! She's been SO excited once she knew she was gonna be just like her big brother. She had a good day (she painted, she told me), and got to take her special new princess pillow to class with her.
Beyond that, we're just getting by. We've been playing a lot of Disney "Scene-It" DVD games (both series 1 and the 2nd version which we received from eBay today). These games are pretty fun, and the kids can be involved as well... okay, they're actually better than I am! :)
I'm pretty sure I have pictures of soccer/Sierra's first day, but they'll be later or tomorrow, or some other time. Until then!

Stories of "mob ball" as it has come to be known in my family, are becoming legendary. I would love to see video footage of some of the tales I've been told, but I guess I'll have to wait until my own kids play. I'll look forward to your first hand accounting of the excitement! Enjoy your coming months of entertainment! :)
That's so fun that Ryan will be playing soccer. Jackson had a great time "playing" in the spring. It's pretty funny to watch. The kids think they are pretty hot stuff out there. Have lots of fun!
